Today is a treat! I sit down for a long and substantive conversation with Princeton professor and energy modeler Jesse Jenkins about energy system modeling, how it works, and what we can learn from it.
Yes! I'd love to see a transcript! Here in the zoom era, I've become addicted to them, because they are so valuable to my learning process: Auditory / visual, reinforced by the written word.
Very interesting podcast today. There was one topic that wasn’t discussed at all and I’d love to hear Jesse’s perspective, to wit, the role of long distance HVDC. Not only for follow the sun/wind (eastern Rockies plains providing power to East Coast at peak time after sunset) but also for direct connection into industry and DC motors instead of AC. Am I crazy thinking of DC in the backbone and AC at the edge in the same way that IPv6 runs in the core of the Internet today but end users only really see and understand IPv4 at the edge? It solves a lot of the phase sync issues when trying to connect AC grids, does it not or is this much too simplistic? The old adage of a little learning is a dangerous thing may apply here. Thx
Hi I’m re-listening to this and six months later I’d really like to hear more about permitting reform. What does it look like now that we’ve got wackos in the house? I also listened to the entire series on transmission from 2021… what has changed since the new FERC composition?Any possibility of having Jenkins back on to talk about the state of permitting reform?
transcripts please!
A transcript would allow me to consume this content. I really just don't have the time or workflow to listen to things, I need to read them.

i have way more opportunities during the day to read things than to listen to things, so yes to transcripts generally
Yes, transcripts, please -- I read faster than I listen
Chiming in for the hard of hearing in favor of transcripts
I second the request by JBonitz--transcript would be great to have.
Definitely would appreciate a transcript! THANK YOU!
I would prefer a transcript.
Transcript please!
I don’t ever listen to podcasts, but I would definitely read a transcript.
I vote for transcripts
One of your most fascinating podcast ! It is so dense that one can only absorb the meat with a transcript !

I think this is a very good candidate for transcribing...I would definitely make use of it.
