Most people don't know it, but US environmental rules & regulations are routinely violated, in some cases at rates higher than 50%. An expert in compliance discusses how to design better rules.
I liked this… I listened to the “meta”… “how to construct effective rules, how to measure, marginal action” meditations more than the environmental… but the latter was fascinating, too.
Slightly tangential, but any chance of getting a transcript to read instead of an audio ? Quality information deserves a careful, thoughtful reading; and to be honest, I do not have the patience to slog through audio. I'm a paying member, if that matters.
Not quite the same as a transcript of the podcast, but if you want to read some of Cynthia Giles' articles on this topic, they are available at: https://eelp.law.harvard.edu/2020/09/next-generation-compliance-environmental-regulation-for-the-modern-era/
