I'm casting about for a small scale local project that my church group can work on related to climate change and the energy transition. Unfortunately, here in the State of New Mexico the deadline for grant proposals (RFP) will close in March so it's too late to apply for state money. If anyone has successful experience pursuing a small local project related to energy (e.g. low income community insulation projects, upgrades to energy efficient appliances, community solar, or anything else envisioned by the Inflation Reduction Act) your ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated.
